Because I play both journalist and copywriter, it is very important for my editor or client to understand I abide by the standards and ethics set forth from the American Society of Journalists and Authors.  If you’re an editor checking me out right now, I know it is vital I get this point across to you.

When I pitch article ideas to editors, I always like to close my query with how my writing is solid and dependable – it always meets or beats assigned deadlines. Heck, the same attitude applies for copywriting clients. When I teach kids and adults, I’m just as focused on excellent delivery of services.

I have abilities and experience in all of the following: copywriting, copyediting and proofreading (Web, catalogs, advertisements, brochures); articles for publications (trade journals, national, state and local newspaper and magazine publications); public relations (promotional events, press releases, press packets); business (proposals, grants, sales letters); educational documents (syllabi; curriculum; assessments); and elementary/secondary writing curriculum.
